Amex Exploration Inc. (TSXV:AMX), a junior explorer, moved higher after identifying multiple visible gold grains in a drill hole at its Perron gold project in Quebec
Visible gold was likely a welcomed sight for more than a few shareholders of a junior explorer Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, January 4, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
Amex Exploration Inc. (TSXV:AMX) shares jumped 35% to $0.175 on Thursday after the junior explorer announced that it has identified multiple visible gold grains in Hole PE2017-03, which is the third drill hole done out of 14 planned holes on its 100% owned Perron gold project in Quebec.
As well, shares of Jackpot Digital Inc. (TSXV:JP) gained 22% to $0.055 as the electronic table games manufacturer and mobile gaming provider said it has entered into a binding LOI and a 90-day lock-up agreement with International Interactive Ventures of Ramat Gan Israel, and associated companies, for the acquisition of all of the assets associated with cryptocurrency mining, blockchain technology, software and associated IP.
ProMIS Neurosciences, Inc. (TSX:PMN), meanwhile, reported that its lead product candidate for Alzheimer’s disease (AD), PMN310, showed absence of binding to amyloid beta (Aβ) plaque in and around blood vessels in AD brain samples in a preclinical study directly comparing PMN310 to other Aβ-directed antibodies. ProMIS Neurosciences stock moved up 15% to $0.235 following the announcement.
