Junior Explorer Rises on Gold Drill Results

Tudor Gold Corp. (TSXV:TUD), a junior explorer, moved higher after announcing results from its Treaty Creek property in British Columbia

Glistering gold results caught the eyes of a few junior explorer speculators Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

Tudor Gold Corp. (TSXV:TUD) shares gained 8% to $0.52 on Tuesday, following a 10% increase Monday, after the junior explorer announced results from its 2017 drill program on the Copper Belle zone of the Company’s Treaty Creek property in British Columbia, which included 124.5 metres grading 0.98 g/t gold from 53.0 to 177.5 metres.

As well, shares of Pretium Resources Inc. (TSX:PVG) slid 27% to $9.87 as the gold miner said it expects gold production at its Brucejack mine in British Columbia to be in the range of 150,000 ounces to 200,000 ounces for the first half of 2018, for total first year ramp-up gold production of 302,000 ounces to 352,000 ounces.

RYU Apparel Inc. (TSXV:RYU), meanwhile, reported that it has been highlighted by Forbes as a luxury brand trendsetter, by granting greater flexibility to the individual needs of its customers. RYU Apparel stock moved up 10% to $0.265 following the announcement.

Finally, Legend Power Systems Inc. (TSXV:LPS) shares climbed 21% to $1.15 after the provider of voltage reduction and optimization technology announced that Con Edison, New York City’s Power Utility, has significantly increased its financial incentives for energy saving technologies, which includes the use Legend’s Harmonizer system.
