A significant Eric Sprott investment boosted shares of a junior explorer Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, July 3, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):

Grande Portage Resources Ltd. (TSXV:GPG) shares jumped 66% to $0.58 on Friday after the junior explorer announced that Eric Sprott has agreed to invest C$3 million into the Company via a non-brokered private placement at price of $0.30 per unit.

As well, shares of Organigram Holdings Inc. (TSX:OGI) slipped 7% to $2.03 as the Canadian cannabis company said it has reduced its workforce by approximately 25%, affecting 220 employees.

K2 Gold Corporation (TSXV:KTO), meanwhile, reported additional rock chip sampling results from its Mojave project in California, which included 5.14 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 11.6 metres. K2 Gold stock moved up 13% to $0.51 following the announcement.
