A significant investment from Eric Sprott pushed shares of a junior explorer higher Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):
AbraPlata Resource Corp. (TSXV:ABRA) shares gained 20% to $0.18 on Tuesday after the junior explorer announced that Eric Sprott has agreed to invest C$3 million into the Company as part of a C$4 million non-brokered private placement at a price of C$0.115 per unit.
As well, shares of Boyuan Construction Group, Inc. (TSX:BOY) jumped 33% to $0.48 as the China-focused construction company said it has received a proposal to “go private” at a price of C$0.50 per share in cash.
Drone Delivery Canada Corp. (TSXV:FLT), meanwhile, reported that it has entered into a second commercial agreement with DSV Air & Sea Inc. Canada to deliver healthcare-related cargo. Drone Delivery Canada stock moved up 6% to $0.91 following the announcement.
Finally, Desert Mountain Energy Corp. (TSXV:DME) shares powered 61% higher to $0.54 after the resource junior announced that it has “encountered gas in multiple zones” in its first wildcat exploratory well in Arizona’s Holbrook Basin.
