Northern Ontario gold assays sparked shares of a junior explorer Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):
Rockridge Resources Ltd. (TSXV:ROCK) shares climbed 14% to $0.16 on Wednesday after the junior explorer announced drill results from its Raney Gold Project located southwest of Timmins, Ontario, which included 28.0 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 6.0 metres (uncut).
As well, shares of Westport Fuel Systems Inc. (TSX:WPRT) surged 32% to $1.53 as the clean fuel systems and components provider said production and manufacturing will fully resume at its facilities in Cherasco, Brescia, and Albinea, Italy on May 4, 2020.
KORE Mining Ltd. (TSXV:KORE), meanwhile, reported results from its ground geophysics program on the Mesquite-Imperial-Picacho District exploration project in California, which the Company said confirms 19 km of anomalies from Imperial to the Mesquite mine. KORE Mining stock moved up 22% to $0.53 following the announcement.
Finally, Thermal Energy International Inc. (TSXV:TMG) shares slipped 7% to $0.07 after the provider of emissions reduction solutions announced that revenue for the third quarter and year-to-date period is expected to be higher than the same periods last year and it will likely be the Company’s fourth straight quarter of profitability.
