Surface assay results generated much speculation in shares of a junior explorer Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

Max Resource Corp. (TSXV:MXR) shares gained as much as 25% on Tuesday after the junior explorer announced surface assay results from ongoing exploration on its Choco Gold and Platinum Project in Colombia, with one sample grading 340.84 g/t gold and 111.03 g/t platinum.

As well, shares of Sokoman Minerals Corp. (TSXV:SIC) plunged 42% to $0.11 as the gold explorer released assay results from Phase 3 diamond drilling at its Moosehead Gold Project in Newfoundland, which included 4.8 metres of 33.59 g/t gold starting at a downhole depth of 239.85 metres.

MediPharm Labs Corp. (TSXV:LABS), meanwhile, reported that it has received Depository Trust Company eligibility for its common shares in the United States. MediPharm Labs stock moved up 4% to $5.89 following the announcement.
