Colombia copper property acquisitions sparked a bit of interest in shares of a junior explorer Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

Max Resource Corp. (TSXV:MXR) shares jumped 20% to $0.18 on Wednesday after the junior explorer announced that it has acquired five copper properties located within the Gachala sedimentary copper basin in Colombia. The Company believes the underexplored Gachala region has the potential to become the world’s next copper frontier as the geology is thought to be similar to the Zambian Copper Belt of Africa.

As well, shares of The Green Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd. (TSX:TGOD) added 2% at $7.87 as the Canadian marijuana company said it has launched a global division focused on the beverage industry, which is focused on creating industry-leading branded products, and to supply organic base ingredients for use in global beverage brands.

HIT Technologies Inc. (TSXV:HIT), meanwhile, reported that its HITCASE Shield LINK iPhone X, 8/8PLUS, and 7/7Plus protective cases are now available in 377 Best Buy stores in the United States. HIT Technologies stock moved up 50% to $0.045 following the announcement.
