Junior Explorer Jumps on Pilbara NSR LOI

International Prospect Ventures Ltd. (TSXV:IZZ), a junior explorer, climbed after announcing a letter of intent to acquire a net smelter royalty on the Comet Well Property

A net smelter royalty letter of intent in the promising Pilbara region of Australia generated a bit of excitement in a junior explorer Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, June 28, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

International Prospect Ventures Ltd. (TSXV:IZZ) shares shot up 9% to $0.25 on Thursday after the junior explorer announced that it has entered into a non-binding letter of intent to acquire from a third party arms’ length vendor a 0.5% royalty on net smelter returns on the Comet Well Property located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, which was acquired by Novo Resources in April 2017.

As well, shares of Namaste Technologies Inc. (TSXV:N) rose 15% to $1.52 as the provider of medical cannabis consumption devices said it intends to purchase for cancellation up to 25,308,136 of its common shares, representing approximately 8.9% of the Company’s issued and outstanding common stock.

California Nanotechnologies Corp. (TSXV:CNO), meanwhile, reported record revenues of US$548,575 for fiscal 2018, along with operating cash flow of US$53,859 and net income of US$49,466 during the fourth quarter. California Nanotechnologies stock moved up 18% to $0.065 following the announcement.

Finally, VisionstateCorp. (TSXV:VIS) shares gained 43% to $0.05 after the technology investment company announced it has made a strategic investment in Alberta-based Freedom Cannabis Inc. in a round of seed funding.
