Junior Explorer Shines on Copper Mineralization Discovery

ML Gold Corp. (TSXV:MLG), a junior explorer, moved up after announcing that it has intersected 311 metres of veined and variably disseminated copper sulphide mineralization

A copper sulphide mineralization intersection caught the attention of more than a few speculators in a junior explorer Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, January 11, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

ML Gold Corp. (TSXV:MLG) shares climbed 43% to $0.15 on Thursday after the junior explorer announced that it has intersected 311 metres of veined and variably disseminated copper sulphide mineralization consisting predominantly of chalcopyrite in the first drill hole on its Stars Project, near the Huckleberry mine, in British Columbia.

As well, shares of Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. (TSX:SEV) gained 15% to $0.38 as the provider of analog semiconductor products for broadband connectivity markets said it has received a strategic investment of C$2.0 million from Global Blockchain Technologies Corp.

Relevium Technologies Inc. (TSXV:RLV), meanwhile, reported that it has signed a joint venture agreement with Quantomic LLC for Tagspire, a virtual retail and visual commerce platform. The joint venture includes eCommerce AI with Blockchain technology integration, as well as a proposed Initial Coin Offering. Relevium Technologies stock moved up 8% to $0.265 following the announcement.

Finally, QMC Quantum Minerals Corp. (TSXV:QMC) shares rose 20% to $0.91 after the lithium explorer announced that it has acquired, through staking, an additional nine contiguous mineral claims that increases the number of claims in the area around the Irgon Lithium Mine Property in Manitoba to encompass 6,538 acres (2,647 hectares), an increase of 378%.
