A strong copper soil presence powered shares of a junior explorer Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):
Aurania Resources Ltd. (TSXV:ARU) shares surged 20% to $4.30 on Tuesday after the junior explorer announced that soil sampling shows strong enrichment of copper directly over the Tsenken N2 geophysical feature that was identified as a second-tier target in the airborne magnetic survey that the Company completed over its Lost Cities-Cutucu Project in Ecuador.
As well, shares of Centamin PLC (TSX:CEE) gained 12% to $2.20 as the gold miner said its Board has rejected a takeover proposal from Endeavour Mining Corporation.
Delta 9 Cannabis Inc. (TSX:DN), meanwhile, reported that it has received Health Canada approval to place 95 new Grow Pods from its Phase II expansion into production, which the Company anticipates will add an additional 2,975 kg/year in dried cannabis flower production, bringing Delta 9’s overall anticipated production capacity to 8,325 kg/year. Delta 9 Cannabis stock moved up 8% to $0.42 following the announcement.
Finally, Nighthawk Gold Corp. (TSX:NHK) shares rose 9% to $0.42 after the gold explorer announced assay results for seven drill holes completed on Zones 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 of the Colomac Gold Project in the Northwest Territories.
