A clean
tech collaboration generated some investor interest Monday, while an executive
change weighed on a platinum play. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on
Monday, December 7, 2015 (as of 4 pm EST):
Zenyatta Ventures Ltd. (TSXV:
ZEN) shares powered 29% higher to $1.10 on Monday after the graphite
project developer announced that it has made “significant progress” utilizing
high purity Albany graphite in the membrane electrode assembly of a fuel cell
in its collaboration with Ballard Power
Systems Inc. (TSX:
BLD).
As well,
shares of Wellgreen Platinum Ltd. (TSX:
WG) slid 9% to $0.21 as the resource explorer/developer said Greg Johnson
has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
Cymat Technologies Ltd. (TSXV:
CYM), meanwhile, reported that it has received an initial order from
Panhard General Defense, a division of Renault Trucks Defense and part of the
Volvo Group, for 250 SmartMetalvehicle
blast mitigation kits. The approximate value of this order is $400,000 with
delivery expected during the first half of calendar 2016. Cymat
Technologies stock moved up 57% to $0.22 following the announcement.
Finally, Intermap (TSX:
IMP) shares rose 16% to $0.425 after the provider of location-based solutions
announced that it has received three new orders totaling approximately $2.4
million for archived NEXTMap data and professional services work.
