Significant intersections of visual graphite sent shares of a graphite junior sharply higher Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, April 27, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

Berkwood Resources Ltd. (TSXV:BKR) shares powered 12% higher to $0.145 on Friday after the graphite junior announced that it has intersected what it called “significant intersections” of visual graphite in eight of the nine holes completed during its Phase 3 drill program at its Lac Gueret South project in Quebec, including one drill hole that has a 123.93-meter intersection with an 87.5-meter true thickness.

As well, shares of Detour Gold Corporation (TSX:DGC) sank 30% to $10.05 as the gold miner said it is revising its 2018 gold production forecast downward to 595,000 to 635,000 ounces, compared to a previous range of 600,000 to 650,000, and expects its all in sustaining costs will increase to between US$1,200 to $1,280 per gold ounce.

Good Life Networks Inc. (TSXV:GOOD), meanwhile, reported record revenue of $9.7 million as well as record EBITDA of $1.7 million for fiscal 2017. The Company is involved in programmatic advertising technology. Good Life Networks stock popped 26% to $0.27 following the announcement.
