Graphite Junior Climbs on Sample Results: Sean Mason’s Canadian Small Cap Market Movers

flake results was good news for some shareholders Wednesday while a small tech
stock popped on record orders. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday,
October 7, 2015 (as of 4 pm EST):

DNI Metals Inc. (TSXV:
DNI
) shares jumped 38% to $0.11 on Wednesday after the graphite project developer
announced that additional testing of samples from its flagship Vohitsara
project in Madagascar has shown jumbo and large flake distribution of greater
than 67.4%.

As well,
shares of Spectra7 Microsystems
Inc.
(TSX:
SEV
) powered 32% higher to $0.47 as the consumer connectivity company said
it achieved confirmed orders or “bookings” of US$2.5 million during
the third quarter of 2015, representing a record for the Company and an
increase of 85% from the previous quarter bookings of US$1.4 million.

WesternZagros Resources Ltd. (TSXV:
WZR
), meanwhile, reported that its production of light oil in the Kurdistan
Region of Iraq averaged approximately 5,000 barrels per day in the third
quarter. WesternZagros stock moved up 8% to $0.14 following the announcement.
