Quebec drill results from a gold junior attracted more than a few buyers Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

Sirios Resources (TSXV:SOI) shares shot up 6% to $0.18 on Wednesday after the gold junior announced assays results from the extension of two drill holes on its 100% owned Cheechoo property in Quebec, which included 26.8 g/t gold over 6.8 metres.

As well, shares of GT Gold Corp. (TSXV:GTT) slid 20% to $0.59 as the gold explorer revealed drill results from step-out drilling both to the east and west of its 2017 Saddle South gold discovery in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle, which included 32.65 g/t gold over 2.82 metres.

RJK Explorations Ltd. (TSXV:RJX.A), meanwhile, reported that it has agreed to acquire the Moosehead Gold District Project in Newfoundland, which is adjacent to and on-trend with the mineral license hosting Sokoman Iron Corp.’s recently-announced discovery hole. RJK Explorations stock moved up 106% to $0.175 following the announcement.

Finally, Invictus MD Strategies Corp. (TSXV:GENE) shares rose 10% to $1.42 after the cannabis company announced that it has signed a commitment letter for a $25.5 million debt financing arrangement with ATB Financial to accelerate the construction of its Phase 3 and Phase 4 cannabis cultivation facilities at Acreage Pharms Ltd. in Alberta.
