An update on an African gold project continued to power shares of a gold junior Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, November 7, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):
African Gold Group, Inc. (TSXV:AGG) shares continued to move higher on Thursday, up 5% to $0.32, after the gold junior announced Tuesday an update on the Kobada Project in Mali, saying it expects the feasibility study to be delivered ahead of the schedule.
As well, shares of Stuart Olson Inc. (TSX:SOX) fell 39% to $1.65 as the provider of general contracting and electrical building systems contracting in the public and private construction markets said it swung to a third-quarter net loss of $2.0 million from a profit of $3.9 million during the same period last year.
Just Energy Group Inc. (TSX:JE), meanwhile, reported that its second-quarter fiscal 2020 gross margin rose 4% to $155.4 million, despite a 4% reduction in sales, while its administrative expenses for the period fell 7% to $41.5 million. Just Energy stock moved up 16% to $2.97 following the announcement.
