Drill results from Finland attracted the attention of a few gold junior speculators Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):
Aurion Resources Ltd. (TSXV:AU) shares surged 28% to $1.25 on Tuesday after the gold junior announced new assay results from the Aamurusko prospect on its Risti Project in Finland, which included 42.28 g/t gold over 4.00 metres.
As well, shares of Tetra Bio-Pharma Inc. (TSXV:TBP) sank 26% to $0.78 as the biopharmaceutical company said it has temporarily suspended its Phase 3 clinical program due to impurities found in its PPP001 investigational drug being administered to patients.
Solarvest BioEnergy Inc. (TSXV:SVS), meanwhile, reported that it has signed a non-binding letter of intent with FSD Pharma Inc. (CSE:HUGE), under which Solarvest would conduct research using its algal expression technology to develop pharma-grade cannabinoids. Solarvest would then grant FSD Pharma an exclusive license over a subset of the Project Cannabinoids and certain royalty rights over all of the other Project Cannabinoids. Solarvest BioEnergy stock popped 53% to $0.305 following the announcement.
Finally, Sable Resources Ltd. (TSXV:SAE) shares rose 6% to $0.195 after the junior explorer announced that it has initiated a second stage of drilling at its Margarita project in Mexico, consisting of a minimum of 19 holes for a total of 3000 meters.
