Gold Junior Slides on Drill Results: Sean Mason’s Canadian Small Cap Market Movers

Assay
results tarnished a small gold play Wednesday while a contract win boosted an
alloys stock. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, September
9, 2015 (as of 4 pm EST):

Goldstrike Resources Ltd. (TSXV: GSR) shares sank 39% to $0.125 on volume of more than
3.5 million shares Wednesday after the gold explorer announced drill results
from its Plateau property in the Yukon, which included 13.25 grams per tonne
gold over 17.5 metres true width, in addition to 35.28 grams per tonne over 5.7
metres true width.

As well,
shares of Sandvine (TSX:
SVC
) fell 13% to $2.60 as the provider of intelligent network policy
control solutions for fixed and mobile operators said it expects revenue for
its third quarter to be approximately US$27 million, citing that some of its
deals are taking longer than expected to close.

IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. (TSXV: IB), meanwhile, reported that it has been awarded an
investment casting hard tooling contract from Lockheed Martin for
its Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP) components. Under the terms of the
contract IBC, through its Engineered Materials division, will be responsible
for the design, manufacture and implementation of the hard tooling to be used
as a part of the final qualification process to establish and
qualify Beralcast castings as an effective beryllium-aluminum
alternative for precision targeting components for Sniper ATP. IBC Advanced
Alloys stock moved up 18% to $0.13 following the announcement.

Finally, Gensource Potash Corporation (TSXV:
GSP
) shares rose 8% to $0.065 after the potash project developer announced
that, to-date; it has received signed term sheets with 12 end-user customers in
Brazil through its Brazilian market partner, representing specific orders totaling
close to 150,000 tonnes/year.
