Gold Junior Rises on Golden Triangle Option

Scottie Resources Corp. (TSXV:SCOT), a gold junior, gained ground following approval of its option agreement with Decade Resources Ltd.

A Golden Triangle district option agreement sparked interest in shares of a gold junior Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, January 28, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

Scottie Resources Corp. (TSXV:SCOT) shares jumped 50% to $0.12 on Monday after the gold junior announced that it has received regulatory approval from the TSX Venture Exchange for its option agreement with Decade Resources Ltd. to acquire a 100% interest in the Bow property located in the Golden Triangle mining district of British Columbia, in consideration for cash payments totaling $1 million to be paid in five equal installments.

As well, shares of Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. (TSX:SEV) climbed 21% to $0.115 as the provider of analog semiconductor products for broadband connectivity markets said it will be partnering with Luxshare-ICT to demonstrate OSFP format Active Copper Cables using Spectra7 technology in a live demo.

Emerald Health Therapeutics, Inc. (TSXV:EMH), meanwhile, reported that its 50%-owned joint venture, Pure Sunfarms, received its sixth amendment to its cultivation license for its 1.1 million square foot greenhouse in Delta, British Columbia from Health Canada. Emerald Health Therapeutics stock moved up 18% to $3.34 following the announcement.

Finally, Aleafia Health Inc. (TSX:ALEF) shares continued to move higher Monday, up 2% to $2.17 following a 21% gain on Friday, after the Canadian cannabis company announced what it believes to be the first study reporting reduced benzodiazepine use among patients initiated and monitored on medical cannabis. The cohort featured 146 patients who received physician-led treatment in Aleafia Health’s wholly-owned Canabo Medical Clinics. Aleafia believes it maintains the world’s largest medical cannabis patient dataset and is deploying the data for unique insights in medical cannabis treatment and product development best practices.
