Scandinavian assay results powered shares of a gold junior Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, June 29, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):
Rupert Resources Ltd. (TSXV:RUP) shares climbed 24% to $3.17 on Monday after the gold junior announced new drill results from its 100% owned Pahtavaara Project in Finland, which included 15.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 13 metres along with 4.1 g/t gold over 47 metres.
As well, shares of Greenlane Renewables Inc. (TSXV:GRN) gained 18% to $0.46 as the provider of biogas upgrading systems that helps decarbonize natural gas said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Greenlane Biogas North America Ltd., has signed C$20.6 million in new supply contracts using Greenlane’s Pressure Swing Adsorption biogas upgrading system.
KORE Mining Ltd. (TSXV:KORE), meanwhile, reported that Eric Sprott has agreed to invest $7.5 million into the Company via a non-brokered private placement at a price of $1.00 per unit, which would increase his ownership stake in KORE to 22.53% on a non-diluted basis. KORE Mining stock popped 19% to $1.22 following the announcement.
Finally, Roxgold Inc. (TSX:ROXG) shares continued to move higher Monday, up 4% to $1.53 following a 4% gain on Friday, after the junior gold miner announced further infill and extension drilling results from its Séguéla gold project in Côte d’Ivoire, which included 20 metres of 28.0 g/t gold.
