Gold Junior Jumps on Assay Results

Nighthawk Gold Corp. (TSX:NHK), a gold junior, gained ground after announcing drill results from its Colomac Gold Project

Drill results from way up North lifted shares of a gold junior Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):

Nighthawk Gold Corp. (TSX:NHK) shares climbed 11% to $2.45 on Wednesday after the gold junior announced drill results from the Goldcrest sill, part of the Company’s flagship Colomac Gold Project in the Northwest Territories, which included 15.50 metres of 5.47 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.

As well, shares of Japan Gold Corp. (TSXV:JG) slipped as much as 12% before closing up 4% to $0.30 as the gold explorer released surface sampling results for the 2019 exploration program at the Kitano-o Gold Prospect in Japan, 16 of the 75 of which returned gold assay results greater than ≥2.5 g/t with a peak assay of 60.8 g/t.

Else Nutrition Holdings Inc. (TSXV:BABY), meanwhile, reported that it has entered into an investment agreement with NewHLimited, pursuant to which NewHhas agreed to an investment of C$5.75 million in the Company at a price of C$0.646 per unit. Else Nutrition Holdings stock moved up 11% to $0.80 following the announcement.

Finally, Zenabis Global Inc. (TSX:ZENA) shares rose 8% to $0.13 after the Canadian cannabis company announced details of its cannabis derivative product (Cannabis 2.0) strategy and execution, including entering into an agreement with a Canadian beverage manufacturer to produce a range of cannabis-infused beverages.
