Eye-popping assays from Arizona powered shares of a gold junior sharply higher Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):
Kerr Mines Inc. (TSX:KER) shares surged 22% to $0.165 on Wednesday after the gold junior announced further drilling results from its resource expansion program at the Copperstone Mine in Arizona, which included 16.8 meters at 40.0 g/t gold.
As well, shares of Max Resource Corp. (TSXV:MXR) shot up 42% to $0.22 as the junior explorer said it has successfully submitted 21 mineral applications, expanding the Company’s Choco Gold-Platinum Project area in Colombia to 2,140 sq. km.
Radius Gold Inc. (TSXV:RDU), meanwhile, reported results from the second round of its diamond drill program at the Amalia Gold-Silver Project in Mexico, which included 44 metres grading 12.38 g/t gold and 309.3 g/t silver. Radius Gold stock popped 139% to $0.335 following the announcement.
