Shares of a gold junior heated up Wednesday following drill results from South America. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

Goldsource Mines Inc. (TSXV:GXS) shares climbed 73% to $0.13 on Wednesday after the gold junior announced results from the first two diamond core holes at the Salbora target at its Eagle Mountain Gold Project in Guyana, which included 40.0 metres (est. true width) grading 6.52 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.

As well, shares of Bellatrix Exploration Ltd. (TSX:BXE) slipped 11% to $0.49 as the oil and gas company said it has decided to voluntarily delist the Company’s common shares from the New York Stock Exchange.

Desert Lion Energy Inc. (TSXV:DLI) stock, meanwhile, continued to tread higher Wednesday, up 23% to $0.185 following a 25% gain on Tuesday, after reporting that it has successfully completed the acquisition of Exclusive Prospecting License 5718 and has fulfilled its commitments in connection with the issuance of the Phase 2 Mining License (ML204). Desert Lion Energy is a Namibian lithium developer.
