Alaska drill results sparked much speculation in shares of a gold junior Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):
Freegold Ventures Limited (TSX:FVL) shares surged 113% to $0.17 on Wednesday after the gold junior announced assay results from the temporarily-suspended drill program on its Golden Summit Project in Alaska, which included 188 metres grading 3.69 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.
As well, shares of Real Matters Inc. (TSX:REAL) climbed 23% to $20.14 as the network management services platform for the mortgage and insurance industries said its U.S. Appraisal and U.S. Title revenues hit a record high during Q2 2020, while generating consolidated Adjusted EBITDA of US$14.6 million in the quarter, up from $2.8 million during the same period last year.
Datametrex AI Limited (TSXV:DM), meanwhile, reported that it has secured non-exclusive rights to sell COVID-19 test kits from two additional South Korean manufacturers, including a kit that is U.S. Food & Drug Administration approved under Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Emergency Use Authorizations for Medical Devices for the United States. Datametrex stock moved up 9% to $0.175 following the announcement.
Finally, Tower Resources Ltd. (TSXV:TWR) shares gained 100% to $0.04 after the junior explorer announced partial results from its drill program on the Company’s Nechako gold project in the Golden Triangle area of British Columbia, which included a 7.1 metre core intercept grading 2.75 g/t gold and 40.2 g/t silver.
