Gold Junior Climbs on Drilling Announcement

First Mining Gold Corp. (TSX:FF), a gold junior, moved up after announcing that it has begun drilling its Goldlund Gold Project

An Ontario gold drilling update pushed shares of a gold junior sharply higher Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, June 24, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

First Mining Gold Corp. (TSX:FF) shares jumped 10% to $0.225 on Monday after the gold junior announced that it has begun drilling at its wholly-owned Goldlund Gold Project in Ontario.

As well, shares of YDX Innovation Corp. (TSXV:YDX) rose 14% $0.08 as the eSports and Augmented and Virtual Reality technology company said it has installed three new Arkave VR Arenas, launched to the public this past weekend at the Vitoria Shopping Mall in the city of Vitoria, in Brazil.

Solar Alliance Energy Inc. (TSXV:SOLR), meanwhile, reported that year to date in 2019 it has sold US$594,000 in residential systems. The Company added that residential solar system sales in 2019 are on track to exceed US$1.1 million and have already exceeded all of 2018 sales by 266% with six months left in the fiscal year. Solar Alliance Energy stock moved up 10% to $0.055 following the announcement.
