Gold Junior Climbs on Property LOI

Pacton Gold Inc. (TSXV:PAC), a gold junior, jumped after announcing a LOI to earn up to an 80% ownership interest in tenement licences in Western Australia’s Pilbara gold mining region

An Australia gold property letter of intent was a nugget of good news for shareholders of a gold junior Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, April 5, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

Pacton Gold Inc. (TSXV:PAC) shares gained 20% to $0.305 on Thursday after the gold junior announced that it has entered into a letter of intent, whereby it can earn up to an 80% ownership interest in Arrow (Pilbara) Pty Ltd, which holds two granted tenement licences and two applications for licences, comprising of a total of 609 km2, situated in the eastern portion of the currently-defined part of Western Australia’s Pilbara gold mining region.

As well, shares of Orocobre Limited (TSX:ORL) slipped 8% to $4.72 as the lithium carbonate supplier said production for the March quarter at its Olaroz Lithium Facility in Argentina was down 29% from the December quarter due to reduced solar radiation from cloudy conditions and above normal rainfall that severely affected the evaporation rates.

Reliq Health Technologies Inc. (TSXV:RHT), meanwhile, reported that it will expand its contract with Paz Home Health LLC in Texas to provide its iUGO Care remote patient monitoring and telemedicine solution, increasing the number of Paz Home Health subscribers by 5,000 patients, which will generate more than US$9 million in annual recurring revenue at full deployment, by Q4 2018. Reliq Health Technologies stock moved up 14% to $1.99 following the announcement.

Finally, The Mint Corporation (TSXV:MIT) shares powered 32% higher to $0.355 after the globally certified payments company announced that it has obtained an option to acquire a 75% ownership interest in vPay, a mobile payment solution business in India.
