High-grade gold sample results sparked much speculation in a gold junior Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, May 28, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

Goldex Resources Corporation (TSXV:GDX) shares surged 136% to $1.11 on Monday after the gold junior announced results from a recently-completed sampling program at its Korokoro project in Mali, which included 17.5 g/t gold over 3.8 metres.

As well, shares of Real Matters Inc. (TSX:REAL) slid 23% to $4.15 as the network management services platform for the mortgage industry said that its previously-announced title and closing services deployment with a U.S. Tier 1 lender will not proceed at this time due to circumstances beyond the Company’s control.

Global Atomic Corporation (TSXV:GLO), meanwhile, reported first-quarter net income of $3.7 million, up from $2.4 million during the same period last year. The Company also announced the approval of the expansion and modernization of its electric arc furnace dust plant in Iskenderun, Turkey. Global Atomic Corp. stock moved up 13% to $0.35 following the announcement.
