Nevada drill results generated a bit of investor interest in shares of a gold junior Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, July 16, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):
Corvus Gold Inc. (TSX:KOR) shares climbed 12% to $3.83 on Thursday after the gold junior announced drilling results from its new Lynnda Strip target located approximately 2.5 kilometres to the north-northeast of the Mother Lode deposit in Nevada, which included 197 metres of 0.44 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.
As well, shares of Amex Exploration Inc. (TSXV:AMX) gained 6% to $3 as the gold explorer released drill results from the six-drill, 200,000 metre drill program on its 100% owned Perron property in Quebec, which included 44.22 g/t gold over 9.10 metres.
Vizsla Resources Corp. (TSXV:VZLA), meanwhile, reported that it has expanded the exploration program planned for the Panuco silver-gold project in Mexico by adding a third drill rig. Vizsla Resources stock moved up 7% to $2.24 following the announcement.
Finally, Tetra Bio-Pharma Inc. (TSXV:TBP) shares rose 7% to $0.23 after the cannabinoid-derived drug developer announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has favorably reviewed the Company’s Pre-Investigational New Drug application for ARDS-003, which an investigational drug designed to dampen the cytokine release syndrome and prevent the development of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
