A new gold system discovery propelled shares of a gold junior Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, February 28, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):
Cabral Gold Inc. (TSXV:CBR) shares powered 27% higher to $0.285 on Thursday after the gold junior announced the discovery of what it called “a new high-grade gold system” at the Cuiú Cuiú Project in Brazil, with drill results that included 3.4 metres of 36.9 g/t gold.
As well, shares of Lite Access Technologies Inc. (TSXV:LTE) climbed 14% to $0.48 as the provider of micro/narrow trenching technologies for deployment of broadband networks said its first-quarter revenue soared 160% year over year to $6.8 million, while its net comprehensive income for the quarter was $548,231, compared with a net comprehensive loss of $940,526 during the same period last year.
Jamieson Wellness Inc. (TSX:JWEL), meanwhile, reported fourth-quarter revenue that rose 18% to $99.1 million, while Adjusted Net Income for the period increased 25% to $12.2 million. Jamieson Wellness stock moved up 11% to $19.54 following the announcement.
