High-priority drilling targets sparked speculation in shares of a gold explorer Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):
X-Terra Resources Inc. (TSXV:XTT) shares jumped 17% to $0.135 on Tuesday after the gold explorer announced that it has defined several high-priority gold drilling targets on its Grog and Northwest properties in New Brunswick.
As well, shares of A2Z Technologies Canada Corp. (TSXV:AZ) powered 35% higher to $0.70 as the provider of military as well as civilian robotics technology said it has won three “significant” contracts with the Israel Electric Company. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Trillium Therapeutics Inc. (TSX:TRIL), meanwhile, provided an update on its TTI-621 and TTI-622 clinical programs, saying “the TTI-621 program continues to demonstrate clear single agent activity across a range of hematologic malignancies, as well as a strong tolerability profile.” Trillium Therapeutics stock moved up 3% to $1.51 following the announcement.
Finally, Aurora Solar Technologies Inc. (TSXV:ACU) shares gained 21% to $0.085 after the solar cell technology provider announced that it has received a new volume order for 14 DM measurement systems, which are expected to be shipped later in the current fiscal quarter.
