More than a few speculators used grab samples as an excuse to pick up shares of a gold explorer Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, November 2, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
White Metal Resources Corp. (TSXV:WHM) shares jumped 50% to $0.075 on Friday after the gold explorer announced initial grab sample results from the Little Joanna Gold Property in Newfoundland, which ranged from 40 ppb gold to 229.3 g/t gold.
As well, shares of Sleep Country Canada Inc. (TSX:ZZZ) slipped 13% to $23.84 as the specialty mattress retailer said its third-quarter revenue rose 4.4% to $183.9 million, while same store sales for the period edged up 0.2%.
Ethos Gold Corp. (TSXV:ECC), meanwhile, reported initial trench results for its Pine Pass vanadium project in British Columbia, which included 218 metres averaging 0.43% V2O5. Ethos Gold stock moved up 56% to $0.25 following the announcement.
Finally, Aleafia Health Inc. (TSX:ALEF) shares rose 20% to $2.68 after the Canadian cannabis company announced that it has signed a non-binding term sheet to acquire a 10% equity stake in Australian medical cannabis company CannaPacific.
