Additional British Columbia drill results tarnished shares of a gold explorer Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, April 22, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):
Westhaven Ventures Inc. (TSXV:WHN) shares sank 14% to $0.70 on Monday after the gold explorer announced results from the ongoing drill campaign at its Shovelnose gold property in British Columbia, which included 28.72 metres of 2.97 g/t gold and 13.68 g/t silver.
As well, shares of Helijet International Inc. (TSXV:HJI) climbed 78% to $0.285 as the helicopter airline and charter service said its board of directors has received a proposal from a Helijet director for a going private transaction at a price of $0.30 per share in cash.
EnerDynamic Hybrid Technologies Corp. (TSXV:EHT), meanwhile, reported that the first project to supply up to 100,000 rooftop solar systems under the United Nations OPS program, in conjunction with the Government of Ghana and its Ministry of Works and Housing, has now been funded. EnerDynamic Hybrid Technologies stock moved up as much as 11% following the announcement.
Finally, Chibougamau Independent Mines Inc. (TSXV:CBG) shares surged 87% to $0.215 after the junior explorer announced the results of two drill holes completed on the Bateman Bay property in Quebec, which included 3.61% copper, 1.72 g/t gold, and 11.9 g/t silver over 12.5 metres.
