Visible gold likely looked good for shareholders of a gold explorer Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, October 5, 2017 (as of 4 pm EST):
Grande Portage Resources Ltd. (TSXV: GPG) shares powered 36% higher to $0.61 on Thursday after the gold explorer announced that it has now completed 12 holes and 3700 metres of its recent “step-out” drill program at the Herbert Gold property in Alaska, noting that it continues to encounter visible gold in the core.
As well, shares of Southern Lithium Corp. (TSXV: SNL) plunged 62% to $0.04 as the lithium explorer released Phase One lithium brine drilling program results for the Cruz Property in Argentina, which indicated an insufficient presence of lithium brine throughout the section to be commercially viable. The Company added that it will not be completing the mineral property option agreement.
Raise Production Inc. (TSXV: RPC), meanwhile, reported the expansion of its product line sales into the United States via a distribution agreement with a major U.S. service provider. Raise is an oilfield service company. Raise Production stock moved up 57% to $0.29 following the announcement.
