Gold Explorer Shines on Drill Results

More than a few speculators were attracted to shares of a gold explorer Wednesday following interim drilling results. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

Royal Road Minerals Limited (TSXV:RYR) shares climbed 13% to $0.215 on Wednesday after the gold explorer announced interim drilling results from the recently-completed, 17-hole scout diamond drilling program at its Luna Roja gold project in Nicaragua, which included 49 metres of 2.8 g/t gold.

As well, shares of The Green Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd. (TSX:TGOD) fell 17% to $2.93 as the Canadian cannabis company said Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX:ACB) sold its stake in the Company (a total of 28.8 million shares) at a price of $3 a share, which was executed as a block trade on September 3 after market close.

Barrian Mining Corp. (TSXV:BARI), meanwhile, reported that it has started a summer drilling program at its Bolo Gold Project in Nevada. Barrian Mining stock moved up 17% to $0.17 following the announcement.

Finally, Apex Resources Inc. (TSXV:APX) shares jumped 43% to $0.10 after the precious metals explorer announced that an exploration program is now underway on its Ore Hill Gold Property in British Columbia.
