Osprey Gold Development Ltd. (TSXV:OS), a gold explorer, moved higher after releasing drill results from the Caribou Gold Project in Nova Scotia

East coast drill results propelled shares of a gold explorer Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, May 16, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

Osprey Gold Development Ltd. (TSXV:OS) shares rose 50% to $0.06 on Thursday after the gold explorer announced additional drill results from the Caribou Gold Project in Nova Scotia, which included 1.33 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 13.80 metres.

As well, shares of Midland Exploration Inc. (TSXV:MD) sank 20% to $1.03 as the resource junior released results of the first drilling campaign on its wholly-owned Mythril project in Quebec, which included 1.07% copper, 0.37 g/t gold, and 8.87 g/t silver over 12.55 meters.

Transat AT Inc. (TSX:TRZ), meanwhile, reported that it is in discussions to be acquired by Air Canada at a price of $13.00 per Transat share. Transat stock flew 13% higher to $12 following the announcement.
