Grab sample assays caught the attention of more than a few speculators in a gold explorer Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):
GoldON Resources Ltd. (TSXV:GLD) shares climbed 19% to $0.70 on Wednesday after the gold explorer announced the remaining assay results from the initial 2019 sampling program on its Slate Falls Gold-Silver Property located between the Red Lake and Pickle Lake Gold Camps in northwestern Ontario, which included sample assays of up to 292.94 g/t gold and 2,141 g/t silver.
As well, shares of The Supreme Cannabis Company, Inc. (TSX:FIRE) gained 11% to $1.53 as the Canadian cannabis company said it has agreed to acquire privately-held Truverra Inc. in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $20 million, or 14.7 million common shares of Supreme Cannabis.
Martello Technologies Group Inc. (TSXV:MTLO), meanwhile, reported Fiscal 2019 revenue of $10.4 million, a 103% year-over-year increase, of which 78% was recurring. Martello Technologies stock moved up 2% to $0.62 following the announcement.
Finally, Crystal Lake Mining Corporation (TSXV:CLM) shares surged 15% to $0.31 after the gold explorer announced that its ongoing Phase 1 exploration program has greatly expanded the target area at Burgundy Ridge, the newest drilling discovery in northwest B.C.’s Eskay Camp, based on four shallow, first-ever drill holes during winter conditions last Fall.
