Gold Explorer Shines on Partial Drill Results

Comstock Metals Ltd. (CVE:CSL), a gold explorer, climbed after announcing partial results from its Preview SW gold project

A gold explorer glistered Thursday following the release of partial drill results from Saskatchewan. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, September 28, 2017 (as of 4 pm EST):

Comstock Metals Ltd. (TSXV: CSL) shares jumped 19% to $0.125 on Thursday after the gold explorer announced partial results from the summer diamond drilling program at its 100% owned Preview SW gold project in Saskatchewan, which included 3.25 metres averaging 87.16 g/t gold starting at 41.15 metres depth.

As well, shares of DHX Media Ltd. (TSX: DHX.B) slipped 16% to $5.05 as the provider of children’s content and brands said it was disappointed with its fiscal 2017 financial results, which saw the Company swing to a net loss of $3.6 million from a profit of $27.7 million a year earlier.

Goldmoney Inc. (TSX: XAU), meanwhile, reported the addition of vaulted Bitcoin and Ethereum as secure and fully-reserved offline investable assets within the Goldmoney Holding, which would allow qualified clients to buy, sell, and exchange cryptocurrencies with nine global currencies as well as gold, silver, platinum and palladium bullion. Goldmoney stock moved up 13% to $4.58 following the announcement.

Finally, Titan Medical Inc. (TSX: TMD) shares gained 12% to $0.325 after the medical device company announced that it has entered into an agreement with Columbia University Medical Center for feasibility and validation studies to support regulatory application for its SPORT Surgical System.
