Gold Explorer Surges on Exploration Results

Evrim Resources Corp. (TSXV:EVM), a gold explorer, moved sharply higher after announcing exploration results from its Cuale gold project in Mexico

More than a few speculators took a shine to a gold explorer Monday following promising drill results. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, April 9, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

Evrim Resources Corp. (TSXV:EVM) shares powered 36% higher to $0.66 on Monday after the gold explorer announced initial exploration results from the Phase Two exploration program on its 100%-owned Cuale gold project in Mexico, which included 193.5 metres grading 2.09 g/t gold.

As well, shares of BTL Group Ltd. (TSXV:BTL) climbed 26% to $5.98 as the Blockchain technology platform provider said it continues to build its professional sales and delivery teams to support commercial opportunities with customers in financial services, natural resource and supply chain verticals.

LGC Capital Ltd. (TSXV:LG), meanwhile, reported that Tricho-Med Corporation plans to increase the scale of its operations in Quebec with new land options to over two million square feet of gross building areas of controlled atmosphere production capacity. LGC entered into a four-year secured convertible loan agreement with Tricho-Med, which will convert into 49% of Tricho-Med’s issued and outstanding shares upon Tricho-Med obtaining a license to produce medical cannabis. LGC Capital stock moved up as much as 14% before ending 4% to $0.15 following the announcement.
