Mineralization confirmation justified buying shares of a gold explorer Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
Adamera Minerals Corp. (TSXV:ADZ) shares powered 48% higher to $0.17 on Wednesday after the gold explorer announced that the first hole on the SE-01 VTEM target at its Cooke Mountain project in Washington State is mineralized with sulfides and magnetite, having intersected a thick zone with both semi-massive and disseminated sulfides over a 120 metre core length. The Company added that follow-up drilling is underway.
As well, shares of BioAmber Inc. (TSX:BIOA) sank 35% to $0.085 as the renewable materials company said the Toronto Stock Exchange has notified the Company that it is reviewing, on an expedited basis, BioAmber’s eligibility for continued listing.
EnerDynamic Hybrid Technologies Corp. (TSXV:EHT), meanwhile, reported that it has received its first order in Puerto Rico for 67 EHT ENERTEC panels and solar systems. Each system retails for up to US$16,000 and will generate on average 33Kw per day in Puerto Rico. EnerDynamic Hybrid stock popped 13% to $0.09 following the announcement.
Finally, Ballard Power Systems (TSX:BLDP) shares gained 6% to $4.27 after the provider of clean energy products announced the planned deployment of 500 licensed fuel cell electric commercial trucks, all using Ballard fuel cell stack technology, in Shanghai, China.
