Gold Explorer Shines on Assay Results

Roscan Gold Corporation (TSXV:ROS), a gold explorer, surged after announcing drill results from its Kandiole Project

Drill results out of Africa generated a bit of excitement in shares of a gold explorer Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, July 22, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

Roscan Gold Corporation (TSXV:ROS) shares climbed 8% to $0.14 on Monday after the gold explorer announced assay results from both the diamond drilling and air core drilling programs at its Kandiole Project in Mali, West Africa, which included 5.86 g/t gold over 26.0 metres.

As well, shares of Golden Ridge Resources Ltd. (TSXV:GLDN) slipped 18% to $0.115 as the junior explorer released assay results for the first 2019 hole drilled on the Company’s Hank Property in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle, which included 0.35% copper, 0.28 g/t gold and 1.71 g/t silver (0.55% copper equivalent) over 278.0 metres.

Jervois Mining Limited (TSXV:JRV), meanwhile, reported that eCobalt Solutions Inc. (TSX:ECS) shareholders approved the merger of eCobalt and Jervois. Jervois Mining stock moved up 13% to $0.17 following the announcement, while eCobalt shares jumped 26% to $0.27.

Finally, K92 Mining Inc. (TSXV:KNT) shares rose 14% to $2.67 after the junior miner announced results from diamond drilling of the Kora North Extension of the Kainantu gold mine in Papua New Guinea, which included 6.70 metres of 120.6 g/t gold.
