A multi-million Euro contract win ignited a geoanalytics stock Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, July 13, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

UrtheCast Corp. (TSX:UR), a geoanalytics stock, surged 39% to $0.32 on Friday after announcing that its subsidiary, the Earth Observation company Deimos Imaging, has been awarded a multi-million Euro contract through a consortium led by Airbus Defence and Space to provide a large set of Earth Observation products and services to the European Commission and the European Space Agency. Financial details were not disclosed.

As well, shares of Teranga Gold Corporation (TSX:TGZ) slipped 5% to $4.42 as the gold junior released results from its most recent diamond drill program on the Golden Hill property in Burkina Faso, West Africa, which included 22.1 g/t gold over 8 metres.

Kneat.com, inc. (TSXV:KSI), meanwhile, reported that a tier-one pharmaceutical company has chosen Kneat’s technology to digitize its commissioning, qualification and validation processes, which Kneat called its fourth new top-tier customer win of 2018. Kneat.com stock moved up 33% to $1.25 following the announcement.
