Gaming Stock Rolls Higher on Acquisition Announcement

Integrity Gaming Corp. (TSXV:IGAM), a gaming stock, climbed after agreeing to be acquired by PlayAGS, Inc. (NYSE:AGS)

Investors in a Canada-listed gaming stock came up big following an acquisition announcement Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, December 17, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

Integrity Gaming Corp. (TSXV:IGAM), a gaming stock, jumped 24% to $0.435 on Monday after agreeing to be acquired by PlayAGS, Inc. (NYSE:AGS) for C$0.46 per share in cash, or a total transaction value of US$49 million that includes repaying US$36 million of Integrity’s outstanding debt.

As well, shares of Spectral Medical Inc. (TSX:EDT) gained 18% to $0.26 as the biotechnology company said it had a favourable face-to-face meeting with the U.S. FDA and expects to update shareholders in the near future with respect to the timing for the initiation of the TIGRIS trial.

Ackroo Inc. (TSXV:AKR), meanwhile, reported the appointment of Jason Donville as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Donville is the President and CEO of Donville Kent Asset Management. Ackroo stock moved up 5% to $0.105 following the announcement.
