Some investors
were buoyed by a portfolio company success story, while a smaller loss boosted
a WiFi play. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, August 25,
2015 (as of 4 pm EST):
Grenville Strategic Royalty Corp. (TSXV: GRC) shares surged 16% to $0.59 on Tuesday after the

Inc., is set to be acquired by Hitachi Systems. Grenville funds industrial and
technology companies through revenue-based royalties.
As well,
shares of Edgewater Wireless Systems
Inc. (TSXV:
YFI) rose 6% to $0.185 as the manufacturer of multi-channel WiFi3 technology
for high-density WiFi applications late Friday said its fiscal 2015 net loss
narrowed to $1.9 million from $2.6 million a year earlier.
POET Technologies Inc. (TSXV: PTK) stock, meanwhile, move up 34% to $0.86 a day after the company
reported that it had entered into a VCSEL Manufacturing Services Agreement with
ANADIGICS, Inc. for VCSEL process transfer and manufacturing, which POET claims
will accelerate the transition from lab-to-fab and enables successful prototype
demonstrations in a mature and capable manufacturing environment.
