Richmond Minerals Inc. (CVE:RMD), an explorer, moved up after acquiring mining claims in northern Ontario

Shares of an explorer gained ground Wednesday after announcing an agreement to acquire mining claims in Ontario. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 (as of 4 pm EST):
Richmond Minerals Inc. (TSXV: RMD) shares rose 20% to $0.06 on Wednesday after the explorer announced that it has acquired a 100% undivided interest in five unpatented mining claims and a 50% undivided interest in 35 unpatented mining claims situated in the Porcupine mining district in Ontario.
As well, shares of Sandvine Corporation (TSX: SVC) gained 9% to $4.26 as the provider of network policy control solutions said it has received a new takeover offer from an affiliate of Francisco Partners for C$4.15 per share in cash, superior to the C$3.80 per share being offered by Vector Capital.
Aurora Solar Technologies Inc. (TSXV: ACU), meanwhile, reported that it has reached an agreement with one of the world’s largest solar panel manufacturers to examine capabilities and applications for the use of Aurora’s Decima Gemini measurement system and Veritas process visualization system for their bifacial cell technology. Aurora Solar Technologies stock moved up 14% to $0.295 following the announcement.
