A promising palladium property acquisition generated interest in shares of an energy metals junior Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, January 23, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):

Sienna Resources Inc. (TSXV:SIE) shares climbed 21% to $0.085 on Thursday after the energy metals junior announced that it has acquired the Marathon North Palladium Property in northern Ontario, which encompasses approximately 2,500 acres.

As well, shares of Birchcliff Energy Ltd. (TSX:BIR) slipped 13% to $1.79 as the intermediate oil and natural gas company said it expects annual average production in 2020 to be in the range of 80,000 to 82,000 boe/d, which represents a 3% to 5% increase over its estimated 2019 results.

VIVO Cannabis Inc. (TSXV:VIVO), meanwhile, reported that its common shares will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange effective as of market open on January 24, 2020. The Company added that it has successfully shipped Cannabis 2.0 products from its Canna Farms facility to the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, with purchase orders to Alberta, Ontario and British Columbia expected to ship imminently. VIVO Cannabis stock moved up 17% to $0.46 following the announcement.

Finally, LXRandCo, Inc. (TSX:LXR) shares surged 33% to $0.36 after the omni-channel retailer of branded vintage luxury handbags and other personal luxury products announced that it expects fourth-quarter net revenue to come in at a record level of about $14.2 million, representing an increase of 30% versus the comparable period in 2018.
