An update concerning a production license sent a Canadian marijuana stock to new highs Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, November 13, 2017 (as of 4 pm EST):
Emerald Health Therapeutics Inc. (TSXV:EMH), a Canadian marijuana stock, shot up 21% to $2.26 on Monday after announcing that its licensed producer application for the Pure Sunfarms Delta 3 greenhouse facility under Access to Cannabis for Medical Purpose Regulations has met the requirements of the paper-based review of Health Canada’s Office of Medical Cannabis.
As well, shares of Banro Corporation (TSX:BAA) plunged 50% to $0.195 as the gold miner said it continues to face significant ongoing, operational and financial challenges including short and long-term liquidity constraints.
ZoomAway Travel Inc. (TSXV:ZMA), meanwhile, reported that it is planning to incorporate various forms of cryptocurrency into its platforms. The Company added that it is planning to work with several of these providers to give its customers a wide variety of payment options. ZoomAway Travel stock moved up 8% to $0.065 following the announcement.
Finally, Castle Silver Resources Inc. (TSXV:CSR) shares rose 14% to $0.20 after the junior explorer announced that an exploratory surface drill program within 200 meters of the adit at the Castle Silver mine has intersected mineralization in each and every hole highlighted by 1.55% cobalt, 0.65% nickel, 0.61 g/t gold and 8.8 g/t silver over 0.65 meters at 3.85 meters to 4.50 meters in depth in CA-17-16.
