A notable upgrade propelled a Canadian cannabis stock sharply higher Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, August 30, 2019 (as of 11:30 am EST):

Delta 9 Cannabis Inc. (TSXV:DN), a Canadian cannabis stock, jumped 10% to $0.88 on Friday after announcing that its shares will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange as of the opening of the market on September 3, 2019.

As well, shares of Freckle Ltd. (TSXV:FRKL) slid 17% to $0.10 as the provider of privacy-compliant data and offline attribution said it increased its active user base by 44% during the second quarter of 2019.

DHX Media (TSX:DHX), meanwhile, reported that Eric Ellenbogen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, effective today. Mr. Ellenbogen is the former President and CEO of Marvel Enterprises before its acquisition by Disney. DHX Media stock moved up 11% to $1.80 following the announcement.
