Importing COVID-19 test kits was a positive development for a Canadian AI stock Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, April 16, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):

Datametrex AI Limited (TSXV:DM), a Canadian AI stock, shot up 236% to $0.185 on Thursday after announcing an agreement for the rights to import the iONEBIO INC’s iLAMP COVID-19 Detection Kit into Canada from South Korea.

As well, shares of SolGold (TSX:SOLG) jumped 17% to $0.35 as the resource junior said it has received Expressions of Interest from “leading” commodity traders for the offtake of copper-gold-silver concentrate from the Company’s flagship Alpala project in Ecuador.

MedMira Inc. (TSXV:MIR), meanwhile, reported that it has completed the development of the serological Point-of-Care testing solution, REVEALCOVID-19, which the Company claims delivers immediate results without the need for any additional equipment such as a reader or a timer. MedMira stock moved up 214% to $0.11 following the announcement.
