Successful recycled battery production was good news for investors in a battery metals stock Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, September 15, 2017 (as of 4 pm EST):
American Manganese Inc. (TSXV: AMY), a battery metals stock, climbed 24% to $0.235 on Friday, following a 23% gain on Thursday, after announcing that Kemetco has now completed the successful production of rechargeable lithium ion batteries from recycled Lithium Manganese Oxide, Lithium Cobalt Oxide, Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide and Lithium Nickel Cobalt Aluminum Oxide batteries from recycled materials, produced with AMI’s hydrometallurgical process technology.
As well, shares of Organigram Holdings Inc. (TSXV: OGI) jumped 17% to $2.65 as the marijuana producer said it has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the New Brunswick provincial authority for the distribution of marijuana to the adult-use recreational market. Through this arrangement New Brunswick secures a supply of at least five million grams of recreational marijuana per year from Organigram.
Golden Dawn Minerals Inc. (TSXV: GOM), meanwhile, reported that it has recently signed an agency agreement with First Berlin Securities Brokerage. First Berlin will guide the Company to suitable institutional and qualified investors, primarily in the Eurozone jurisdictions. Golden Dawn Minerals stock moved up 5% to $0.31 following the announcement.
Finally, Pivot Technology Solutions, Inc. (TSX: PTG) shares jumped 11% to $2.58 as the information technology provider announced that one of its subsidiaries has formed a strategic partnership with Moogsoft Inc, a market leader in AIOps.
