Base Metals Explorer Gains Ground on Drill Results

Additional drill results provided further encouragement for a few speculators in a base metals explorer Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, July 23, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

Adventus Zinc Corporation (TSXV:ADZN) shares climbed 13% to $0.90 on Monday after the base metals explorer and its partner and Salazar Resources announced additional results from the 2018 infill drilling program on the El Domo volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit as part of its Curipamba project in Ecuador, which included 5.09 metres of 2.67% copper, 21.59 g/t gold, 38.46% zinc, 338.8 g/t silver, and 5.32% lead for 37.88% copper equivalent.

As well, shares of International Frontier Resources (TSXV:IFR) plunged 51% to $0.10 as the oil and gas junior provided an operations update on production testing on its onshore oil and gas block Tecolutla in Mexico, in which Interval A and Interval B recovered a small amount of oil and had limited inflow.

Auxly Cannabis Group Inc. (TSXV:XLY), meanwhile, reported that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kolab Project Inc., has received its sales licence from Health Canada, pursuant to the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations, which will allow Kolab to sell dried cannabis to registered Canadian medical patients across the country through its online portal. Auxly Cannabis moved up 2% to $0.89 following the announcement.
