Junior Resource Stocks That Should Benefit From Low Share Counts

Published:

When speculating in the junior resource sector, a company’s total shares outstanding is an important determinant in its stock-price movement: the more shares available to the public (the float), the more buyers are needed to move the share price higher. Resource juniors with less than 70 million shares outstanding, then, are more likely to make money for shareholders than ones with, say, 200 million or more. The companies on our list today actually have less than 50 million shares outstanding. This doesn’t necessarily make them a good bet, although you’ll have a better chance of making money on positive company news or during a sector rebound.
